Omnisend offers automated e-commerce marketing solutions used by over 100,000 businesses in more than 130 countries. The company is bootstrapped, so it is focused on sustainable development: when hiring people, it pays a lot of attention to the candidate’s values, and how they would fit with Omnisend values. The company's employer branding actions were quite limited. In 2022, it was decided to expand the range of employer branding communication tools and channels – with quite a limited budget.
Goals
- To increase the evaluation of the company as an attractive employer by 10 percentage points in a specific target group – among senior specialists
- To maintain and possibly increase visits to the Careers page in months when the number of visits traditionally decreases
Implementation
Bosanova‘s proposed creative idea “Please Accept Our Cookies“ reflects the well-known internet cookie acceptance situation that is often encountered when visiting a new website. Tech people are even more familiar with this situation because when working in this sphere, some of them must deal with the creation of internet cookies from A to Z.
Only this time, the offer for potential Omnisend employees was the real cookies – edible ones, not the internet type. And their preparation and baking processes are the perfect medium to represent the uniqueness of Omnisend.
Thus, the employer branding video clip was created, which included real employees of Omnisend. The campaign was carried out in own SoMe channels and attracted media attention.
